What is next to be nixed?

Dear editor:

There seems to be considerable backwash to decisions and ideas put forth by our off-putting (love that word) city council.

I see council has seen the light (pun intended) on the canopy issue. Now they can get down to business and work on nixing the list of other rattlebrained schemes, such as the unsuitable locations for the waterslide and casino.

Next reconsider the vote-buying idea of giving away needed tax monies to the PIB. How about backyard chickens, moving city hall, library, museum and art gallery?

The list would seem endless but the quest for much needed revenue has induced our council to move in an unfathomable planning direction.
