Waterslides in a drought

Dear Editor:

Re: Herald headline   “Still Too Thirsty” (Herald, July 29).

Penticton people are still using more water than is feasible and yet now Council is allowing a new waterslide. Outside of the issues already being discussed, the loss of park space and public access, how has Council taken this issue into account?

I hope someone on Penticton Council wakes up, listens to the people and nixes this precarious preposition.
