Utilizing isn’t exploitation

Dear Editor:

How myopic and arrogant for people to call green space underutilized simply because we humans haven’t exploited it for our own amusement.

Andy J. and company have failed miserably on all accounts concerning the waterslide issue. I’m sure the birds that nest in the trees and the raccoons that prowl by night don’t agree with this arrogant attitude.

What will be deemed underutilized next?

The only underutilized commodity in this nightmare is the common sense of a handful of bullies.
