Hall of Famers and waterslides

Dear Editor:

Interesting column by Mr. Crompton in the April 7th edition of the Penticton Herald.

Sports are like most subjects, there are always at least two different opinions.

I am one of the people who believe that even outstanding Major League Baseball players should never be voted into the Hall of Fame if they are liars, cheaters, break the rules, using performance drugs, etc.

There are several reasons that that should exclude Barry Bonds and Pete Rose.

There was also nice picture on the front page of a number of people, with a picture of the residential tower to be built by Starline Enterprises, where a failed waterslide park was once located.

Could this be a precursor for what could take place where the water slide proposed for Skaha Lake Park by Trio and the City is to be located?
