Concerned about Skaha

Re: “Playground politics at its best” (Herald, Jan. 7).

Jim Calvert, my sentiments exactly. Why would the average, respectable and responsible organization want to proceed with any of the planned Skaha Lake Park project in light of the relentless and well thought-out opposition to it? It cannot be good for future business.

My observations would leave me to believe the surreptitious Trio Marine Group is not like most accountable corporations. How can you deduce otherwise?

Our off the mark, city council cannot seem to accept the fact that this project has little benefit. Perhaps focus ought to be shifted to Trio Marine as to whether or not it is an outfit qualified to operate in Penticton.
