I concur fully with the wonderful letter sent in by Robin Hoeger. It truly was a pleasure and a huge adrenaline rush to see close to 1,000 people united to stop the destruction of a beautiful natural area at the the Mark Skaha Park event on Sunday.
As well, I particularly enjoyed the picture on the front page of the Penticton Herald showing children playing at the event, enjoying the park as it is meant to be, free for all, full of trees and plenty of green space to play in.
Please visit the Save Skaha Park Facebook page for pictures of the event and YouTube for a video of the event.
As well, visit the Save Skaha Park website www.saveskahapark.ca for a picture gallery of the event and to order a souvenir photo of the crowd standing shoulder to shoulder around the perimeter of the whole natural area to be destroyed, in support of saving it.
